Badbury Southern Park Forming a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

Dear resident

We were hoping to be able to start a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in your area just after Christmas.

Unfortunately the person who we hope to be able to start it was unable to proceed.

As a group of residents in the local area who have already signed up to The Wiltshire & Swindon Community Messaging Service

would you consider being part of a new scheme in your area and if we provide you with the necessary leaflets would put some through your neighbours doors.

We do need to recruit a Coordinator and deputy for the scheme.

The Our Watch Network site is very comprehensive in relation to crime prevention advice and support to members, including what is known as the Knowledge Hub, which as a Co-ordinator you can join.   www.ourwatch.org.uk.

Our Local Association has a website www.wiltshirenhw.org and I would also point you to the Wiltshire Police site www.wiltshire.police.uk where you will find on the home page a link to ‘What’s happening in your area?’ This provides information regarding neighbourhood police team as well as recent crime statistics.
